Simple Recruitment are working with Local Authority to hire a Recruitment Support Officer for their client site in centre of Ipswich.
We are looking to add a few people to our team to ensure we offer the best service to our callers.
Main Duties
RESPONSIBLE FOR: some mentoring/advising of Admin support employees
MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
To provide an effective recruitment support service for hiring managers using the Oracle system.
Provide an efficient onboarding process sending contract letters and liaising with the HR admin team regarding compliance checks.
To provide first line support for recruitment and other HR queries.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
System Support – Oracle system
Undertake HR processes on the Oracle system on recruitment and other core HR functions.
Set up and maintain Oracle records and ensure that they are working effectively, escalating any problems if unable to resolve with Suffolk County Council.
Run standard and ad hoc reports from the Oracle system regarding recruitment.
Recruitment and Selection
Ensure that recruitment is carried out effectively using the Oracle recruitment module, in conjunction with the recruiting manager and with advice from HR Advisors, Service Recruiter and Business Partners where necessary.
Liaise with recruiting managers providing relevant support and advice.
Provide support for managers, employees and applicants on use of Oracle recruitment (ORC).
Liaise with the Advertising team at Suffolk County Council to agree content , media and dates for advertising.
Advise managers to ensure consistent selection processes and where necessary support managers with the interview process.
Act as a liaison point for all new starters to ensure all relevant onboarding information is received in a timely manner working with the Service Recruiter and HR Admin Assistants.
General
Ensure that HR and Payroll queries are resolved at the first point of contact where possible, transferring
calls to others where necessary or logging queries for investigation and response.
Ensure that the electronic filing system is maintained to ensure all relevant HR data is easily retrieved when required. Any other duties of a similar nature which may be required.
Working Monday to Friday 37hrs a week between 9-5 daily. We can offer a rate of £13.42 for the right candidate.
This role is being offered as an ongoing long term temporary contract. If shortlist interviews will be conducted via MS Teams
