Simple Recruitment are working with an award-winning client to recruit several Chefs of all levels for a large conference and banqueting establishment based in Alfreton, Derbyshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for Chef to work in a stable environment, there is some flexibility with hours, with shifts running Monday – Saturday. They are open to considering either part or full time. With permanent opportunities available for the right candidates!!
The role:
– To help produce, monitor, and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas and during all stages of production and supply.
– To ensure quality control measures and hygiene systems are always achieved.
– Prepare and cook high quality food within budget.
– Present food attractively, in accordance with the menu requirements.
The candidate:
– Highly experienced chefs – working from a CDP level and above
– Owner of chef whites, safety shoes and their own knives
– Experience working with a variety or cuisines
– Ability to work under pressure and to strict time limits
– Experience working different types of service such as – Banqueting – A La Carte – Buffet
– Ability to work individually and as part of a team
– Great attitude towards work
– Reliability
– Knowledge of Health and Safety – Allergens – HACCP – COSHH
– Available Immediately
