Class 1 Driver

Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated Class 1 Driver to join our team for an immediate start!

Working a regular Monday to Friday set shift pattern, starting at 5am and finishing at 3pm with a guaranteed 40 hours per week pay even if you finish early. Overtime also available. This is an ongoing contract with a permanent job offer for the right candidate.

Responsible for collecting and transporting pre loaded waste material safely and efficiently to 2 designated locations in Leicestershire before returning to the depot on a daily basis.

Full induction, training and PPE provided

Responsibilities
– Drive and transport a pre loaded Class 1 lorry to a depot to drop waste using an ejector trailer or a walking floor (no experience necessary as full training will be provided).
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
– Maintain accurate driving logs
– Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations

Requirements
– Previous experience as a Class 1 driver.
– Valid UK driving licence.
– No more than 3 points on your licence.

– Strong understanding of road safety regulations and procedures.

– Available ongoing.
