Warehouse Operative

Simple Recruitment Services are currently looking to recruit a number of part time and full time warehouse pickers for our client based on the A4 near Thatcham.

• Role will be to pick products, sometimes in a chilled warehouse, using a finger scanner and voice unit, you will be picking goods from pallets, to cages for the relevant store.
• 7 day a week operation and you will be required to work at least 1 day at the weekend, or both if preferred
• You will be required to work a minimum of 4 ‘shifts’ and at peak – all hands on deck especially weekends – with increased hourly rates available on occasions
• Shift times available currently are 6pm to 2.30am
• 6/7 hours per day however, you may be asked to work longer if the job calls for it
• Pay is £10.45 to £14.12 depending on ‘day’ worked

The right candidate must possess the following

• Must be able to work in a team or on own initiative
• You could be working in a chilled warehouse so must be able to adapt
• Good timekeeping is essential – you must be able to demonstrate you ability to commit to agreed shift pattern
• Must be available to work at the weekend
• Must be able to follow instructions from team managers – strong verbal communication skills required.
• Must be able to understand voice commands from picking unit
• If you do not live in Thatcham or Theale, you will need own transport
