Responsibilities
● Carry out cleaning duties as directed by the Team Leader
● Ability to act independently and working on own initiative where required
● Ability to use a mobile phone with a cleaning app for logging and tracking all
allocated work to be actioned when completed, and for recording faults identified
during the working shift that can be logged with the Facilities department.
● Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within assigned areas
● Ensure that checklists and other admin documents are completed accurately as
required
● Aptitude to safely operate vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbing machines and buffing
machines as appropriate to the role
● Ensure regular checks of the machinery and equipment used are carried out during
the working day and any faults or defects to be reported to the Cleaning Team
Leader or Contract Manager as appropriate
● Comply with Health & Safety policies and report any hazards
and/or Safety concerns to the Cleaning Team Leader and Contract Manager
● Attend and participate in training sessions as required for the role
● To liaise with other Clean Team members on a daily basis and be adaptable to
changing priorities that may occur at short notice
● Ability to communicate effectively at all levels including Client representatives
● Promote best practice of all tasks undertaken and completed
● All employees are responsible for and required to adhere to Quality Standards, and
Health, Safety & Environmental compliance regulation as appropriate for the role
