Simple Recruitment Services are recruiting for applicants to work for a local well-known parcel courier company.
Ideally, we are looking for applicants that have had a minimum of 6 months warehouse experience.
Shifts:
Sunday 04:00
8 to 10 hours
P.P.E: Safety Boots and High-Vis
Pay rate is £11.22
As a Parcel Sorter the work will involve the following:
- Mostly processing damages and creating reprints to ensure parcels are suitable to be sent out to the customer.
- Sorting Items by hand into compartments, overseeing the automatic sorting process.
- Bagging and labelling mail for its destination.
- Moving mail around the office between conveyor belts, loading and unloading wheeled containers from vehicles to the despatch areas.
- Lift and carry mail bags and boxes weighing up to 20kg and to push containers weighing 250kg.
This is an ongoing role with no end date in sight!
